March 21, Grenoble-Edinburgh:
From Grenoble thanks to RYANAIR, and arrived in Edinburgh 22.30 for
the first turn of the wheel with the car on the way to loc ... Left!
After a few scares and some roundabout, arrived in the city center
where we landed in a hostel in an old building, and begins a tour
of pubs to sample the local beers ...
Sunday, March 22, Edinburgh, Pitlochry:
We leave Edin on their way north, with the index, the guide book and
some little scouting on the net. First stop in Pitlochry where the
smallest distillery in Scotland, unfortunately, arrived at the cocktail
hour, visits have been completed. Direction the small town to find
our hostel, almost deserted!
Monday, March 23, Pitlochry-Inverness:
Early wake up for a busy day. Breakfast 'at the distillery in a dream
setting with a tasting and visit the site. Heading north, with a picnic
stop in the snow, with ducks loch Fish. Next stop, LOCH NESS! As beautiful
as it is worship, there will be time to look for the 90 km road that
belt. Late afternoon on Inverness where they will land in a very nice
Backpackers!
Tuesday, March 24, Inverness-Carbisdale:
After the visit of Inverness by day, towards the beach at Dornoch,
always under a heavily overcast sky makes the most mystical landscapes!
Steps to Durobin Castle, one of the models of the castle of "Sleeping
Beauty". Unfortunately hor closed season, it suffices gardens
and the magnificent view from the beach. By late afternoon, after
a short walk to Big Falls Burns, the destination hostel most awaited
Carbisdale CASLT. Castle built in the early 20th century, the Youth
Hostel in donations received in 1945 with the added ghost room 210.
Comprising 32 public chanmbres 190 people, kitchens, living rooms,
arched dining, galleries, etc., when we arrived, a dozen seuleument
car accompanied us as far to say that reigned in the castle a abiance
spooky!
Wednesday, March 25, Carbisdale-Portree:
After a short cold shower, we attack the interior to reach the West
Coast! Again, 70 km drive on small roads in beautiful green valleys!
On the other hand, always the same time f***, just a few "clarify"
that allows us to do some ballads like the park of Gairloch. After
skirting the coast, we arrive at the island of Skye, where we domirons
port of Portree, in a small apart '...

Beautiful day to discover the island where we wipe storms, hurricanes,
wind, rain ... A small acalmi allow us to observe otters Kylerhea.
Once again, due to off season, visiting beautiful castle Eilean Donan
Castle will be the outside. After a few hours of hell, we find this
damn hostel at the foot of Ben Nevis where we spend the night.

Cursed the day that rain will prevent us from enjoying the Valley
Glen Navis, where were shot many Scottish film. Road to the south,
